Georgia will keep 750 troops for NATO's post-2014 non-combat mission in Afghanistan, Defense Minister Irakli Alasania said on July 25.

A company size unit will be deployed in northern Afghan city of Mazar-i-Sharif under the German command and rest of the troops will be stationed under the U.S. command in Bagram, Alasania told lawmakers during a parliamentary committee hearing as part of parliamentary procedures for confirmation of reshuffled cabinet.
