New Chief of Military Police Appointed

Col. Arsen Tsukhishvili has been appointed as new head of the military police, the Georgian Ministry of Defense said on September 1.

Col. Tsukhishvili, who served as deputy chief of staff of the armed forces in 2009-2013, has replaced Col. Kakhaber Chikhradze.

The latter has been appointed as deputy commander of the National Guard, according to the Ministry of Defense.
