Parliament Speaker Expresses Condolences over Bendukidze’s Death

Parliament speaker, Davit Usupashvili, opened November 14 parliamentary session by expressing on behalf of the legislative body condolences over death of Kakha Bendukidze, who was a minister in charge of many anti-corruption and liberal economic reforms under ex-president Mikheil Saakashvili’s administration.

Bendukidze died on November 13 in London aged 58.

“Kakha Bendukidze was an extraordinary person; future will better demonstrate his contributions and activities,” parliament speaker Usupashvili said.
