Georgian President Visits Poland

Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili is paying a working visit to Warsaw on December 4-5.

He will meet his Polish counterpart, Bronislaw Komorowski and speaker of the lower house of parliament (Sejm) Radosław Sikorski.
 
President Margvelashvili is accompanied by Secretary of the National Security Council (NSC), Irine Imerlishvili, who will meet head of the Polish National Security Bureau (BBN), Stanisław Koziej; they will sign protocol on cooperation, involving regular consultations on defense and security, as well as on issues related to Georgia’s EU and NATO integration.

President Margvelashvili will attend annual International Caucasian Session hosted by the Centre for East European Studies of the University of Warsaw.

This is President Margvelashvili’s second visit to Poland in last eight months.
