Georgian PM Meets Turkish Counterpart, Azerbaijani President in Davos

Georgian PM Irakli Garibashvili met separately his Turkish counterpart Ahmet Davutoğlu and President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev in Davos on the sideline of the World Economic Forum on January 22.

Georgian PM’s office said that further boosting of economic cooperation was the main topic of discussion with the Turkish PM with Garibashvili noting that Georgia “pays special significance to further deepening of relations with Turkey.”

Georgian PM office said that “strategic cooperation” between Georgia and Azerbaijan was discussed during the meeting with the Azerbaijani President, whom the Georgian PM invited to pay visit to Georgia.

Also on January 22 the Georgian PM met Swiss foreign minister Didier Burkhalter on the sideline of the World Economic Forum.
