Lithuanian PM Visits Georgia

Prime Minister of Lithuania, Algirdas Butkevičius, is paying an official visit to Georgia on January 25-27.

Bilateral economic cooperation, transport and energy issues, as well as Georgia’s NATO and EU integration will be discussed during talks with Georgian PM Irakli Garibashvili and President Giorgi Margvelashvili on January 26, the Lithuanian PM’s office said.

In Tbilisi PM Butkevičius will also meet representatives of the Baltic Business Association in Georgia and will participate in the Georgian-Lithuanian business forum on January 27.

He also plans to visit a field office of the EU Monitoring Mission (EUMM) in Mtskheta, outside Tbilisi. Lithuanian diplomat, Kęstutis Jankauskas, is a new head of EUMM.
