Georgian Defense Minister in Brussels for NATO-Georgia Commission

Georgian Defense Minister Mindia Janelidze is visiting Brussels to participate in NATO-Georgia Commission meeting on February 5.

Implementation of NATO-Georgia substantial package, offered to Georgia by NATO at its summit in Wales in September, will be discussed.

“[NATO] will outline the existing resources and capabilities for implementation of the package,” according to the Georgian Defense Ministry.

During the visit Janelidze will meet NATO Secretary General, Jens Stoltenberg, according to the Georgian Defense Ministry. 

On the sideline of the NATO defense ministerial meeting, the Georgian Defense Minister will hold bilateral meetings with his counterparts from the United States, Great Britain, Lithuania, Poland, Romania and Belgium, according to the Georgian Defense Ministry.
