Civil Georgia, Tbilisi / 9 May.'05 / 15:31

Leader of the opposition Labor Party Shalva Natelashvili announced on Monday that his supporters plan to hold a protest rally on May 10, while U.S. President George W. Bush will be visiting Georgia.

He said at a news conference that the Labor Party “welcomes the U.S. President’s visit” and added that the rally will be held in support of this visit and against President Saakashvili’s administration, which, as he put it, “tries to prevent the opposition from meeting with the U.S. President.”
