(Tbilisi, March 1, Civil Georgia) - Georgian State Security Ministry denied that military exercises of Georgian Special Forces or Defense Ministers army units are held in Pankisi gorge.

Reports said earlier that Georgia mobilized additional forces in Pankisi gorge and now carry out exercises preparing for a military operation to combat terrorists harboring in the gorge.

Georgian authorities state that no military operation is planned in Pankisi till now.
