Mayor of the capital city Tbilisi Gigi Ugulava, who is a close ally of President Saakashvili, said on November 18 that Irakli Okruashvili’s decision to quit the government was “hasty and impulsive.”
“I regret this fact. Frankly speaking, I think that it was a hasty decision. I regret it very much because we, the entire team including Irakli Okruashvili, had great victories ahead. However, Georgia will still achieve these victories, but without Irakli this time,” Ugulava told reporters.
