(Tbilisi, April 4, Civil Georgia) - "We do not see that Georgia is committed on solving Pankisi problem," Konstantin Totski, Head of Russian Border Guard Department stated on April 4.

Russian media sources report quoting Totski that 400-500 Chechen fighters are in Georgia's lawless Pankisi gorge at the moment.

After the improving weather conditions in the Caucasus Mountains Chechen fighters will try to infiltrate Russian Federation, Totski stated.
