OSCE Ambassadors, Danish FM Visit Georgia

A group of ambassadors from OSCE-member states based in Vienna are paying a visit to Georgia on July 7-9.

The 27-member delegation has already met Georgian Foreign Minister Eka Tkeshelashvili. Meetings with other officials, as well as with opposition figures, are also planned, according to the Georgian Foreign Ministry.

The delegation will also visit Tskhinvali and hold talks with the breakaway region’s authorities.

On July 7-9 Danish Foreign Minister Stig Møller will also pay a visit to Georgia. After talks with the Georgian leadership, he will visit Sokhumi on July 8. Talks with Abkhaz leader Sergey Bagapsh, the breakaway region’s foreign minister, Sergey Shamba, and the secretary of the National Security Council, Stanislav Lakoba, are planned, according to the Abkhaz news agency, Apsnipress.
