Civil Georgia, Tbilisi / 14 Nov.'08 / 16:38

Deputy Foreign Minister, Maksim Gvinjia, will lead the Abkhaz delegation at the Geneva talks scheduled for November 18.

Sergey Shamba, the breakaway region’s foreign minister and a long-time negotiator from the Abkhaz side, was in Geneva on October 15 when the first round of talks was due to take place. He told the Apsnipress news agency on November 14, that the level of the Abkhaz delegation was downgraded because the Georgian side was also sending deputy foreign minister.
