Georgian PM in The Hague for Nuclear Security Summit
Civil Georgia, Tbilisi / 24 Mar.'14 / 01:15

Georgia’s PM Irakli Garibashvili, who is in The Hague for a nuclear security summit, met his Dutch counterpart Mark Rutte on Sunday.

PM Garibashvili thanked his Dutch counterpart for “supporting Georgia’s territorial integrity and non-recognition policy of occupied territories,” Georgian PM’s office said. It also said that Georgia’s EU integration as well as bilateral trade and economic cooperation were also discussed during the meeting.

Georgian Foreign Minister Maia Panjikidze and Minister of Environment Protection Khatuna Gogaladze accompany PM Garibashvili at the two-day nuclear security summit in The Hague, which opens on March 24.

Summit in The Hague will be the third such event; the inaugural nuclear security summit was hosted by President Obama in Washington in April 2010 and the second one was held in Seoul in 2012 – then Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili participated in both of them.
