Repeat Elections Set in Seven Precincts

Repeat elections have been set for June 29 in those seven precincts where June 15 local election results were either annulled or voting process disrupted on the polling day, according to the Central Election Commission.

Repeat elections will be held at polling stations No.25 and No.57 of Marneuli municipality in Kvemo Kartli region, where vote results were annulled after ballot stuffing was reported.

Other precincts where results were annulled and repeat polls will be held are: polling stations No.2 and No.5 in Tkibuli municipality of Imereti region; polling station No.34 in Kobuleti municipality of Adjara Autonomous Republic.

Repeat elections will also be held at polling station No.22 in Khoni municipality of Imereti region, where ballot count process was disrupted after the precinct was raided and ballot box smashed, and at polling station No.32 in Zugdidi municipality in Samegrelo region, where voting process was disrupted on the election day.
