Alliance of Patriots-led Bloc’s List of MP Candidates

Below is top 20 MP candidates on the list of six-party bloc, led by Alliance of Patriots, who are running in the October 8 parliamentary elections under the party-list, proportional system:

  1. Irma Inashvili – one of the leaders of the Alliance of Patriots party;
  2. Ada Marshania;
  3. Nato Chkheidze;
  4. Giorgi Lomia;
  5. Gela Mikadze;
  6. Emzar Kvitsiani;
  7. Gocha Tevdoradze;
  8. Vazha Otarashvili;
  9. Pridon Injia – he was minister of communications in 1990s; he is a co-owner of Akhali Kselebi telecommunications company;
  10. Kakha Kukava – leader of Free Georgia party;
  11. Davit Zilpimiani;
  12. Giorgi Kurdadze;
  13. Avtandil Enukidze;
  14. Regan Teloian;
  15. Giorgi Maglakelidze;
  16. Zaza Mamaladze;
  17. Shota Gogiberidze;
  18. Konstantine Morgoshia;
  19. Marina Molodini;
  20. Irma Tskhoragauli;

In Georgia’s mixed electoral system 77 seats in 150-member Parliament are allocated proportionally under the party-list contest among the parties and election blocs, which clear 5% threshold in nationwide popular vote.

Rest of the 73 MPs are elected in 73 single-member districts, known as “majoritarian” mandates; a majoritarian MP candidate has to win over 50% of votes in order to be an outright winner in the first round, otherwise a second round should be held no later than 25 days after the first round.
