Tbilisi City Court ordered on March 23 pretrial detention of ex-chief forensic pathologist, Levan Chachua, who performed autopsy on late PM Zurab Zhvania, and one of Zhvania’s bodyguards Mikheil Dzadzamia.

The both have been charged with neglect of official duty; they deny charges.

Their defense lawyers said that they would take Tbilisi City Court’s decision on pretrial detention to the Court of Appeals.
