The Government of Belgium freeing up 500,000 EUR for the refugees from the conflict in Georgia

The Government of Belgium Press-Release

Minister for Foreign Affairs Karel De Gucht has decided to free up 500,000 EUR to help the victims of the conflict in Georgia. The money will be used to provide emergency assistance to people who have been displaced by the conflict. The concrete forms this assistance will take will depend on the people's needs- the authorities and international organisations in the area will keep us informed of these.
