PM Nika Gilauri introduced a new position in his administration, which will be in charge of business liaison, PM’s spokesman said on May 10.
Giorgi Pertaia was appointed on the position with a formal status of advisor to the Georgian PM. Pertaia, a MBA graduate of Western Illinois University, was customs expert at American Chamber of Commerce in Georgia.
“[Giorgi Pertaia’s] joining to our team should further foster relations between the government and the business. His duties will include bringing businesses’ problems to the government’s attention,” PM Gilauri said in a statement.
