Saakashvili Attends Euro 2012 Final in Kiev

President Saakashvili attended on Sunday the Euro 2012 final in Kiev together with leaders from some European and ex-Soviet states.

On photos published by the Ukrainian news agency, UNIAN, President Saakashvili is seen sitting in a VIP box between Moldovan parliamentary chairman Marian Lupu and President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, who attended the final at the Olympic Stadium in Kiev with his 7-year-old son Nikolai. Armenian President Serzh Sarksyan and President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon were also present sitting next to Lukashenko.

In one photo President Saakashvili is seen shaking hands with former President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko.

Prime ministers of Spain and Italy, whose teams met in the Euro 2012 final, sat in the same box, but to the other side of Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovich. President of Poland, whose country co-hosted Euro 2012 with Ukraine, was also present.
