EU-Funded Media Monitoring
Civil Georgia, Tbilisi / 15 Aug.'12 / 11:09

EU-funded program for a large-scale monitoring of election-related coverage by the Georgian media outlets was announced in late April. The project is implemented by the UN Development Programme (UNDP) together with its local partners. The project is built on an experience of a similar media monitoring, which was also funded by EU and implemented by UNDP, ahead of the 2010 local self-governance elections. The scope of the new project is much broader and this time it involves monitoring of dozens of media sources, including TV and radio stations, as well as print and online publications. More details about the project available on this link.
