U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton spoke on phone with Bidzina Ivanishvili and congratulated on his Georgian Dream coalition’s victory in the parliamentary elections, the six-party coalition said on October 4.

“During the conversation Hillary Clinton and Bidzina Ivanishvili have stressed importance of strategic partnership between Georgia and the United states. They have talked about future cooperation between Georgia and the United states,” the Georgian Dream said, adding that Ivanishvili stressed on the United States’ important contribution to democracy development in Georgia.

Clinton also spoke on phone with President Saakashvili on October 4.
