The Georgian Supreme Court found Shota Chichiashvili guilty of number of high-profile abduction, as well as murder cases and sentenced him to 22 years of imprisonment in high-security prison on January 21.
Shota Chichiashvili, 29, was accused of kidnappings of two Spanish businessmen in 2000, Georgian Parliamentarian Petre Tsiskarishvili and the British banker Peter Shaw in 2002.
Georgian law enforcers, in cooperation with the Russian counterparts detained Shota Chichiashvili in Moscow on June 24, 2003.
