Tbilisi, 24.12.07 – At the session the Central Election Commission, in accordance with "The Election Code of Georgia”, made changes and additions to the CEC resolution "About approving necessary funds apportioned for DECs for the January 5, 2008 Extraordinary Elections of the President of Georgia and defining several election related activities”.
The commission electing special group members created by the CEC in purpose to provide Georgian citizens serving in Georgian Peaceful Battalions located to Iraq and Kosovo with possibility for exercising the right to vote in extraordinary presidential elections and plebiscites of 5 January 2008: three members of "National Movement”, three – Political Movement "Tavisupleba”, two – "New Rights”, two "Labour Party”.
At the same session the CEC approved the rules for filling election ballot papers.
